Accident prevention is considered a primary importance in our daily operations and administration. It is DCI’s intent to continually maintain effective processes and procedures to safeguard against injuries and illnesses occurring on the jobsite.
DCI is committed to maintaining an open communication between management and staff on matters pertaining to safety. Employees are encouraged to express their concerns or suggestions to help promote safe work practices. As part of DCI’s ongoing commitment to safety, DCI will provide current safety news, safety activities, up to date training, sign and posters, which will be easily accessible to all employees.
DCI actively promotes life-long learning and training for its employees. Whether you are a laborer in the field or the chief estimator, there are always new construction methods and safety innovations that can help keep our employees out of harm’s way.
In addition to our annual safety kick-off meeting, we participate with training from both Mita and CAM. Our key employees are First Aid and CPR trained. We encourage our supervisors to take the MIOSHA 10 or 30 hour course and confined space training.
I wanted to take just a moment to thank you for your incredibly good work on the 12 mile Road water main replacement in St. Clair Shores. Your crews and sub-contractors have worked with much respect for us as residents on 12 mile. I sent a letter to the city of SCS today praising your good work. Our hearts to yours, thank you.
Just a note to say that this road construction has shown me new ways to get around the neighborhood I've lived in for almost 40 years. Inconvenient yes... but I see the big picture and look forward to beautiful streets and fully functioning sewers. The Diponio people have been very courteous and in my uneducated opinion are doing a very professional job.
Just wanted to let you all know what a outstanding job your crew did on our street in Southfeild 23221 Helen St. They were contracted through city of Southfeild I think. These guys went out of their way to see to it that we were inconvenienced as little as possible. They said they would be done the first of November and they were. I recommend them highly and thank you!
Everyone of your crew has been so nice during construction on Henritta St. In Birmingham its shocking. Even your sub-contractors from Blue Water are so nice to my family.
Having a clay paver walkway from the front of our home to the "relocated" sidewalk with the need to add an additional 13 feet could have been a very expensive time-consuming project for us to hire out. The crew of Diponio Construction did a fabulous job in assisting us to reduce stress on my wife and backbreaking work for myself. While the crew did a great job, and kept everyone informed of the construction, my biggest takeaway on this project was the smiles I saw on everyone's face and the very unusual friendliness of all the staff. That just doesn’t happen in today's world. Hats off to a great crew.
For 26 years we have been living on Harding St. In Dearborn. We have seen so many changes over these years on our street and have encountered many construction, maintenance, and city workers/crews! But we have never met such hard workers, polite crews and frankly a bunch of great guys, than your employees that worked on our street for the last several months! This is something we thought you should know! You are very lucky to have this crew working for you!!
The crew is doing a great job on Cole St. They are all very professional and have made it easy to get in and out of the street. Whoever is on the digger is awesome and works the machine like he has been doing it since he was born.
